Mutual agreement on specialized safety training in the North Sea

The petroleum industry in Norway, the UK, the Netherlands and Denmark has signed an agreement on specialized safety training that is valid across national borders.

A new letter of intent has been entered into by the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association, NOGEPA (the Netherlands), Oil and Gas UK (the UK) and Olie Gas Danmark (Denmark).

This is an agreement entered into by the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association, NOGEPA (the Netherlands), OGUK (the UK) and Olie Gas Danmark (Denmark).

The agreement is based on emergency preparedness training in one country (e.g. Search and rescue) being recognized in the other North Sea countries.
