After two days of negotiations with Industry Energy on the oil service agreement and with Safe on the well service agreement, it became clear that no accord could be reached with the latter. These two collective pay agreements are identically worded.
“It is extremely regrettable that Safe would not approve the offer which Industry Energy accepted and which was in line with the national negotiations in the lead sector settlement,” says Jan Hodneland, chief negotiator for Norwegian Oil and Gas.
The negotiations with Safe will now go to mediation, and a date for that process will be set later.
